Young Leaders Life is shortlived - Is it a curse for India ?

I dont know whether it is a curse or not. But, I feel it is dis-advantage India with young and promising leaders like Sanjay Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Madhava Rao Scindia, Rangarajan Kumaramangalam, Rajesh Pilot, GMC Balayogi...... The list is long, but it is not good for India if this continues.

What did they do wrong ? Why are they losing their lives in a tragic way that too at an young age ? With Pramod Mahajan's life in danger - We all should pray for his well-being as he is an able leader and respected across parties. Pramodji Get Well Soon !!! We are all with you !!! God please dont take another young and promising leader from us.

Train Travel: Reaching Late - Is it my fate or just coincidence ?

I am vexed these days to travel by train. Whenever, I travel by train to any destination - no specific location, the train reaches late. Yesterday night I boarded Cauvery Express to Bangalore. The train left Chennai Central at 9:55, as usual late by 10 minutes from its original time of 9:45. I was asleep (sort of) in the small side upper berth with my legs folded :-(( No other go. Suddenly when I saw the time as 3:40 AM, got down and sat in the lower berth. To my surprise, the train reached Bangarpet at 4:00 AM. It has to reach Bangalore Cantonment at 4:00 AM. What a pity ? Once again, the train boarded by me will reach its destination late. This is not the first time, whenever I travel by train it reaches its destination late. What to say? Is it my fate or just coincidence?

Investments beating Inflation

http://girid.blogspot.com Welcome to the blogger club - Good start Giri !! I agree with you. But, it is not possible for everyone to beat inflation. You also don't get proper financial planner to plan the finances of middle class people. All insurance agents and mutual fund agents are making hay while sun shines.

You know one thing, there are many people who are well educated and put most of their savings into worthless insurance policies. The agent is the giant killer here, he calls the investory umpteen number of times before he invests and once investment is done the agent reaps the benefit.

How many people know what is the return they get from their insurance policies. The agents somehow sell the policy. The investors doesn't know for what they are taking these policies. It is better to spend them now or opt for a pure life policy. The exposure for insurance should only be as insurance, but for Indians it is investment. :-) God save investors (who don't know for what reason they are investing) !! :P
